As the Rapha Centre website project came to a close, we were contracted by Unity Health Center’s Women’s Health Center to build a “sister” site to the one we did for Rapha. The center had basically no image within the community, only a single blurb on the Unity Health Center’s website (and a pitiful picture of their office door). With some of the staff overlapping with Rapha, it provided a unique opportunity to start from Ground Zero and give the organization a fresh look to help them attract, keep and communicate with their patients.
We started by generating a logo similar to that of Rapha Centre, so the two entities could both be seen as part of a larger whole. The wireframe and visual layout of the website were also similar, to display their inter-relatedness. The content was probably the most challenging part of the project because of the time constraints on the staff to advise us, the new medical jargon, and the differentiation between obstetrics and gynecology (they are GYN only). They did not want to pursue social media at this time but wanted downloadable forms and liked the idea of using a series of random image headers to show age ranges applicable to their patients.

We updated their staff photos at the same time as we did the shoot for Rapha, but used a different staff layout to help define the different services available in the Center. They were a joy to work with and we hope the extra exposure helps boost their clientele.
